“Our once great western Christian civilization is dying. If this matters to followers of Jesus Christ, then we must set aside our denominational differences and work together to strengthen the things that remain and reclaim what has been lost. Evangelicals and Catholics must stand together to re-establish that former Christian culture and moral consensus. We have the numbers and the organization but the question is this: Do we have the will to win this present spiritual battle for Jesus Christ against secularism? Will we prayerfully and cooperatively work toward a new Christian spiritual revival ― or will we choose to hunker down in our churches and denominationalisms and watch everything sink into the spiritual and moral abyss of a New Dark Age?” - Mark Davis Pickup

AMERICA'S STARK CHOICE

Americans have a stark choice next week. They must choose between two unsavoury characters. Donald Trump has said some despicable things about women and others. (Yes, I am aware he ridiculed a disabled man.) Hillary Clinton supports abortion up to the day of birth.

I have seen an interview where she's asked about her stance. She said she stands by Roe v Wade and will do everything she can to protect it. The follow up question was about abortion right up to the date of birth. She nods and says, yes, that is the law. The law she just heartily endorsed.

Think of what she is supporting. She supports the abortion of a child up to due date. That means in Hillary Clinton's world a fully developed but unwanted baby can either be killed in utero or murdered just after birth. Lethal injection? Smothering?

Which is more despicable? Calling down people but never espousing their death, or espousing the choice to kill unwanted children up to and including the baby's due date?

American must decide which is more important: Derogatory name calling or supporting the choice to murder of the most vulnerable amongst us?
